Sunday was also my dads birthday, so my other brother planned a little party/dinner for him. It was a lot of fun to visit with family I haven't seen in a while and to celebrate with my dad.
This morning my little brother and his wife made my dad a birthday breakfast, so we got to hang out with them some more and then this afternoon we ran some last minute errands and watched Christmas movies on tv.
We played a killer game of Risk and I was fairly certain I'd win (despite playing with my dad and his black plague army) but Breanna won it all in the end. Great game. Dads streak of destruction has been broken!
The kids went to bed quite willingly... Anxious for us to set out the presents. They opened their exchange gifts to each other this morning and then their Christmas jammies tonight, so they got a taste of how fun tomorrow will be. I'm so excited to watch them open their presents and I just want it to be Christmas morning already!
It's been a great Christmas vacation so far. I love spending holidays with family and am glad we have family so close by.
